About Flour + Yeast
About 6 years ago, I had the idea that I would start a blog to keep track of my favourite recipes. I called my blog “Seasons and Suppers” and over these past years, it has grown in to a wonderful creative outlet for me. And while I love to cook all kinds of food, my passion is baking with yeast – not just bread, but sweet breads, rolls, pizza, flatbreads, pretzels. You name it, I bake it. The problem was, I baked far more than I was comfortable sharing on Seasons and Suppers, lest it turn in to a bread blog.
And then one day, it occurred to me. Why don’t I just make a baking with yeast blog! And after I had a moment of “why didn’t I think of this sooner?”, I got busy building it. So here it is – Flour and Yeast – a blog about all things baking with yeast. It’s new and it’s definitely a work in progress.
My hope is that others who love to bake with yeast will bake along, share recipes or just share their experience baking the recipes. I’m also hoping that this will be a space for those that want to learn to make bread at home, because I love to share the joy 🙂
